Noosa Festival Of Surfing

Amateur and specialty division entries are now open for the 2010 Noosa Festival. Event director Phil Jarratt said that entries were available for on-line purchase or as a download in 11 age divisions and in 5 specialty events, including money events in Stand Up Paddle, Tandem and Noserider Trials.

The Great Noosa Camp Out Music Festival

A three day music festival based around promoting our rich local resource of musical talent.
Offering a cost effective community based event, with the expansion into onsite camping facilities, a natural creative hub is born in the Noosa Hinterland for 3 days.
With workshops, a surfing film festival, children's activity tent, 4 stages , 60 acts, street performers, celebrity cricket match and Easter Sundays' Big Aussie Barbecue.
This event will mark the beginning of an international standard event in the Hinterland of Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.

The Noosa Long Weekend Festival

Now in its 9th Year, The Noosa Longweekend has gained a fine reputation and is considered to be Australia's foremost Regional Cultural Festival, presenting a diverse, topical, entertaining and affordable variety of events throughout the 10 days. David and Kristin Williamson founded The Noosa Longweekend in 2002, and continue to extend their invaluable support towards the annual Festival. Performances of a David Williamson play is always considered to be a Highlight each year and Visiting Artists/Celebrities/Performers and Authors, participate in a wide range of Events, offering something for everyone, with all age groups considered in the Festival Programming. Past guests have included - Max Gillies, Marina Prior, Amanda Muggleton, James Morrison, Carolyn O'Connor, Maggie Beer, Kate Fitzpatrick, The Idea of North, Slava and Leonard Grigoryan, Paul Capsis, Andrew Ettingshausen, together with innumerable acclaimed authors and Speakers. The Noosa Longweekend Festival 2010 will be from 18th June to 27th June 2010 and promises to be the most exciting and vibrant Festival ever. Noosa Country Show

The annual Noosa Country Show is held on the Pomona Showgrounds and is a community run and organised event. It focuses on family fun and education about rural aspects of where we live. The horse competition runs both days with dairy cattle and dog showing on Friday and beef cattle on Saturday. There is also an art festival, craft exhibits, junior art, photography, ute muster, woodcraft, homebrew, woodchop, horticulture and fruit and vege displays. The cookery display and contest also has as the major sponsor, 'The Bee Man Honey,' a local producer. The public can enter any of the sections of the show with individual schedules for specific entry days and categories available to be downloaded from our website. You'll also find steward contact details as well as full details on band and performance times on the site. There's just so much to enjoy at the Show including Side Show Alley with dodgem cars, jumping castle, mini motorbikes and lots more. Plus there are fun family novalities, a rock climbing wall with bungee tramps plus exciting new laser gun war games with obstacles to hide behind and an animal nursery with Alpacas to cuddle too!!
